Driving in downtown Hangzhou
I drove into downtown Hangzhou today. The downtown has changed a lot compare with 20 years ago, when I was studying at the university here.
The first picture was taken in the Xiaoshan area. There used to be farmland here, but now there are lots of high-rise buildings.
The second picture was taken near West Lake, the restaurant is still a hot pot restaurant, it is being renovated now.

Qingshan Lake Water Forest Park in Hangzhou
One day, I took my father and daughter to Qingshan lake in Hangzhou. The lake was a beautiful emerald green, and there were many bald cypress trees standing in the lake.
My father said it was wonderful place and definitely worth visiting, I also saw many foreigners there, probably it has become much easier to get a travel visa to China recetly.
My daughter had been there several times before. She remembered exactly where to ask me to buy her an ice cream. She happily ate it in the sunshine while we walked around the lake.
It was a wonderful day for our family.
